Protect your Web Servers with SSL

SSL is how you add security to a web page.  Normally the words on a page travel across the internet as you read them here.  SSL encrypts the words (and all of the data) as it passes through the internet so that nobody can evesdrop on your browsing.  This is important when viewing sensitive information such as account settings or credit card information.

You know that a webpage is using SSL when you see the green security padlock icon at the top near the URL.

DivyWeb allows you to have a SSL certificate on your website.  They must be renewed on an annual basis just like a domain name.  Contact us today to learn more.
